My latest book 'Death at the Coz' will go up on Amazon tomorrow, with Kindle version soon come. It's my first venture into murder mystery and hope you will enjoy it. It is set in the parts of a fictional famous museum that the public never gets to see.

For anyone thinking of buying one of my books please be assured that I am a real person, no bucket of bolts AI wrote one word of my fantasy/YA/cookbooks or children's lit! Plus I do my own illustrations and covers. It's been a long learning process, so much has happened technologically/application-wise etc. to support and promote indie authors over the years. I'm at home at KDP.

I've been a proud member and judge for The Women's Fiction Writers Association, long time member of The Independent Publishers of New England, member and judge for The Speculative Literature Foundation, member of The Tom Smith Writers Group, Friends of the Castleton Free Library and member of 'The Superficial Book Club'!

I publish my books and promote other Vermont authors under 'MacGregor House'.

I worked at an animal shelter for over 9 years. In that time I cared for over 12,000 animals. (!) My friends on the staff used to see me dropping my scrub brush and running out of the kennels to scribble down a bit of dialog or a note on one of my plots. Curiously, ( and why I love them ) the staff never questioned me when I said I was writing but just assumed I could do anything and cheered me on all the way.

I live and run a gallery in the 200+ year old Adams Feed and Grain Store on Main Street in Castleton, Vermont with my husband, whose paintings are on display as well as my illustrations and books. We have one rescue dog named Emmett and three cats, all fat tremendous moochers we brought in out of the cold.
