Tom is the author of several books including The Mystery of the Island Treasure, Phoebe's Incredibly Magnificent Trip, Wounded in Ministry: Finding Hope Through Forgiving, and You Will Never Same Organizing: Organizing a Group Trip to Israel or Enhancing Your Own Trip.

He is constantly seeking to climb the next mountain. One person has characterized him as "called to challenge the status quo." Tom sees challenges as opportunities to drive forward. He desires to create an environment where attempting new things is the norm. One of his favorite quote is, “The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man”. (George Bernard Shaw)

Tom has over forty years experience in church ministry in the United States and overseas. He is also a lifelong learner.
