Tristis Ward writes and designs in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
She has a degree in English at Dalhousie University, and a Diploma in Graphic Design from the New Brunswick College of Craft & Design. Between these two pieces of paper, she attended approximately nine years of classes in non-degree studies (because she’s really quite curious), the most pertinent of which were Theatre at Dal, Anthropology at UNB, and Photography at NBCCD. She is very interested in photographic art, illustration, sculpture, architecture and history, so she’s nowhere near done attending school.
She worked for twenty years in community radio as a producer, Program Director, Station Manager and national lobbyist, during which time she learned a great deal about communication, perseverance, and patience.
