L. M. Peralta lives in Louisiana with her husband. She is the author of The Elementals trilogy (The Elementals, The Council, and The Creator), The Arcadian Steel Sequence (The Wings of Heaven and Hell, The Seven Archangels of Heaven, and The Seven Princes of Hell), and United Trace. She was a finalist for The Elementals in the Dante Rossetti Awards 2013 for Young Adult Novels.
