Michele Austin

Michele Austin grew up in the frozen tundra, Wisconsin USA, and relocated to sunny Florida in early adulthood to escape the winter blues.

Her passion is world travel (25 countries & counting), with an eventual goal of becoming a homeless wanderer.

Ms. Austin is an Ultimate Killer Sudoku freak and an avid ballroom dancer. She is easily distracted from worthwhile projects by the call of karaoke.

Writing is a long time passion, and a Creative Writing professor once dubbed Ms. Austin the next Erma Bombeck.

Nicknamed 'Dr. Michele' by family and friends, she has practiced natural wellness for 35+ years, after grasping the hypocrisy and dangers of western medicine from a young age. Ms. Austin generously dispenses knowledge regarding naturopathic medicine and has facilitated many cures.

Now retired after a 20-year career in insurance, Ms. Austin realized that the general public is kept in the dark about the evils of the American Medical Mafia and the health insurance industry. As a prior insider, she made it her mission to shine light into some of its darkest corners. Thus her first book was conceived, They Lie and We Pay (With Our Lives)
