Bruce has been a human being his whole life. His curiosity in religion was sparked as a teenager during his time at a prestigious boarding school expert in teaching students how to think for themselves. That was probably a mistake. Nevertheless, this experience unleashed a lifelong pursuit to understand the role and purpose of religion in our lives and more importantly, what it means to be human. He writes about what he has learned during a lifetime of self-discovery, a journey we all share in common that ultimately leads us all to discover our deep and powerful connection to the divine when we learn to overcome our attachment to our own, egocentric way of seeing ourselves and our relationship with the world at large and all other humans with whom we share our very human, spiritual foundation.
His passion for exploring the role of religion and spirituality across multiple cultures across centuries is reflected in his books that seek to go beyond theology to reveal the underlying truth about our true nature as spiritual beings living incarnate in the physical universe.
