Jude Ezeilo has lived in the United States since the age of two, after being born in Libreville, Gabon to Nigerian parents. Raised across various states—from New York and Virginia to Vermont, Arizona, and Florida—he carries with him the layered perspective of someone shaped by many cultures and landscapes. His writing reflects the tensions and beauty of growing up between worlds, offering personal insight into identity, belonging, and the immigrant experience in America. His work is rooted in truth, memory, and a deep belief in the value of cultural difference.
