Renee Davenport

Renee Davenport's themes for her coloring books are Victorian, vintage, retro-style, and now computer-generated coloring pages. Retro is referring to 1950s and 1960s artwork. Victorian and vintage are around 100 years old or more. Most of her books have people in them, but some have animals, flowers, and holiday themes.

Images for her books are compiled in different ways. One way is to find public domain images and another is to find illustrators who sell their artwork for commercial use. She purchases their artwork and the license to use their work commercially. Currently, Renee is using computer-generated (AI - Artificial Intelligence) to develop coloring pages. Then she compiles many images together to design grayscale coloring books.

Her hope is that coloring artists find enjoyment in making the grayscale pictures come to life with their coloring flair.

She is not an illustrator, but a designer and a curator. She's learned many skills in the time she's been curating and designing coloring books. She loves designing coloring books and hopes to continue doing so long into the future.
