Shan Jiang

Shan Jiang was born in Shanghai. He completed an MA at Edinburgh College of Art in 2004. He has worked for numerous high profile clients includes Apple, Nordstrom, Nike, Folio Society, Johnnie Walker, and many more as creative director and illustrator. In 2016, he founds and the scarf label "Pig, Chicken & Cow with partner Ying Wu in London.

His work is strongly influenced by their home city of Shanghai; its skyscrapers and bungalows, contemporary concepts and traditional superstitions, communist ideology and flourishing subcultures. They have been inspired by Chinese Meticulous Art, Ukiyo-e, Bauhaus, Durer, Jean Giraud, Eduardo Paolozzi.
