Bob Korpella earned certification as a Master Naturalist, and served as president of the Springfield, MO chapter. As a naturalist, Bob presented programs to students from pre-school to high school on topics as diverse as stream ecology, fur bearers, insects, bats, and owls. He has also participated in bird surveys and monitored the health of streams at several different sites in southwest Missouri. He received Choose Environmental Excellence, Water Warrior, and Stream Team Ambassador awards.

Bob calls the Ozarks region of Missouri and Arkansas home. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and is working toward earning his M.Ed. He and his wife enjoy frequent visits from their two daughters and their grandchildren. Bob also loves to camp, hike, kayak, fish and hunt.
