With a profound commitment to natural products, Cheryl has been crafting them since 2004, earning certifications as a respected aromatherapist and herbalist. In her entrepreneurial pursuits, Cheryl successfully owned and operated two retail bath and body product stores located in Savannah and Weston, Missouri. In 2020, she made a strategic decision to close these stores after five years of operation, pivoting her focus towards empowering other bath and body product businesses to elevate their offerings.
Recognized as a thought leader in the industry, Cheryl made notable appearances as a speaker at HSCG conferences in the US and Canada, offering insights into her expertise. In 2017, she ventured into the supply business, founding Miss Doyle's Supply, where she specialized in offering unique and distinctive ingredients to fellow artisans. In 2021, she entrusted her venture to another respected industry player, continuing her legacy.
With a strong academic foundation, Cheryl embarked on her educational journey as a devoted mother and wife. She pursued a bachelor's degree in business management, laying the groundwork for her future endeavors. Subsequently, she honed her craft by attending numerous aromatherapy and herbal courses under esteemed mentors such as Jeanie Rose, The School of Aromatic Studies, and The Herbal Academy. Cheryl's pursuit of excellence continued with diplomas in Organic Skincare Formulation and Advanced Diploma in Organic Cosmetic Science from Formula Botanica, as well as additional certifications in natural skincare and haircare formulation. Driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge, she enriched her expertise by attending The Center for Professional Advancement, where she received certificates in Cosmetic Product Formulation, Antiperspirant and Deodorant, and Surfactants for body and home care.
Cheryl's commitment to education is underscored by her aspiration to teach science-driven classes and formulations, ensuring the industry's growth and excellence. Throughout her career, Cheryl has assumed leadership roles, serving on the boards of the HSCG and the Society of Cosmetic Chemistry (SCC). She also held the positions of Chair-Elect and Chair for the St. Louis Chapter of the SCC, contributing significantly to the industry's development.
