Ruth Adams was born in early 80s Belfast, the youngest of four. She studied English Literature and French at the University of Glasgow, spending the third year of her degree in Nice, France. After working in community education in Govan, Glasgow, she moved back to Northern Ireland where she enjoys village life with her husband, their two children and their rescue dog Hazel. She has published six novels, and is currently working on the seventh.
