Richard J. McLeish

Richard James McLeish was born in Toronto, Canada in 1950. He graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Photography in 1977. He stayed in the photographic industry until 1990, when sensing its demise due digitalization, he switched professions to the financial sector.

Working as a financial planner he built a successful practice in which he still participates. During his career, Mr. McLeish earned designations as a Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Life Underwriter and Certified Health Practitioner.

Encryption is his first book. He uses his knowledge of the financial industry as a backdrop for a fast paced thriller which exposes how money really moves around our planet. He has two children and lives with his wife in Guelph, Ontario.
