David Lensner

David Lensner accepted Christ in high school. He graduated from college with a bachelor’s degree in physics and began a career in the aerospace industry.

David has been writing Christian books for nearly three decades. In 2005 he took early retirement to devote full time to Christian writing. His first book, "The Joy of the New Covenant," is a book of devotionals based on passages in the New Testament. His second book, "You Can Win," describes a biblical approach to overcoming temptation. Other books will follow. Prior to devoting himself to Christian writing David published a short story in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine.

David has held a variety of leadership positions in his local church, including president of his church choir and a member of the board of deacons. For nearly twenty years David was a member of Rolling Hills Covenant Church in Rolling Hills Estates, California, and played trumpet in the orchestra for that church’s nationally-known Pageant of our Lord, which depicts great works of religious art with live actors. He currently teaches adult Bible classes at Canyon Lake Community Church in Canyon Lake, California. "You Can Win" is based on a series of lessons he taught at that church.

David is married with three children and three grandchildren. His wife Diane also teaches at Canyon Lake Community Church. She is a discussion group leader for Beth Moore Bible studies.
