Jennifer M. Buck

Jennifer M. Buck (PhD, Claremont Graduate University) is the Theologian-in-Residence and one of the pastors at Calvary Presbyterian Church. She has served as a professor at numerous higher education institutions across Southern California. She has published numerous chapters and articles alongside two books, including: Reframing the House: Constructive Feminist Global Ecclesiology for the Western Evangelical Church (Pickwick, 2016), with a third on the way. Doing Quaker Theology (T&T Theology, 2025) will be forthcoming this year, with a fourth book on Fashion and Theology. She is a Quaker in ecclesial identity and is a licensed minister in that tradition. Her theological interests center on gender, pacifism, popular culture, and ecclesiology. She and her husband Adam and their two children reside in Pasadena, CA.
