Marilyn Ratzlaff

Marilyn Ratzlaff teamed up with her writing partner, Christopher Jordan, MD to write the Young Adult book "Choctaw Creek Kids, Mystery of the Old Skull." The book is the first in a new series of Choctaw Creek Kids mysteries and the first R.E.A.L. Book, which is an acronym for Read, Enjoy, And Learn. "Mystery of the Old Skull," a nod to the old Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys mysteries, is a fusion of exciting fiction with instructive nonfiction. Nancy's old blue roadster has been replaced with cell phones and text messages.

Marilyn is a professional writer with over 18 years’ experience in the publishing industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio/TV from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Arts degree in English with emphasis in Creative Writing from the University of Central Oklahoma.

Dr. Jordan is an orthopedic surgeon in Midwest City, Oklahoma and is affiliated with Midwest Regional Medical Center. He received his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and has been in practice for 42 years. He is one of seven doctors at Midwest Regional Medical Center who specialize in Orthopedic Surgery.
