Formal part done now for the real info - Numerous short stories published. Love Scottish dialect and use this in all my writing. Am particularly fascinated by history and how it still resonates today.

My debut novel Changed Times - part one of a trilogy on 17th century Scotland - describes a turbulent time. For me it's all about conveying these traumatic events through the eyes and lives of individual people, to give them their voice; a voice the reader can relate to.

Have always loved stories, always admired a good storyteller, longed to become one. As a child I told my stories through pictures. Later as an illustrator I interpreted the words of others before daring to link my own word with my own pictures. Now the words seem to have taken over.
