Jeff P Jones

JEFF P. JONES was born in Denver, and was educated at the University of Colorado at Denver, the University of Washington, and the University of Idaho. He’s a MacDowell Fellow. His writing has won a Pushcart Prize, as well as the George Garrett Fiction, Lamar York Nonfiction, Meridian Editors', A. David Schwartz, Sunshot Prose, and Wabash prizes. LOVE GIVE US ONE DEATH (2016, Texas Review Press) is his first book. BLOODSHOT STORIES (2018, Sunshot Press) is his debut story collection, and it was longlisted for the PEN/Robert W. Bingham Prize in 2019. WRITING FOR THE READER: PRACTICE IN PROSE CRAFT (2018, Troika Press) is available on Kindle and as a paperback.
