Lisa McNeill

Lisa writes children's picture books and works with close friend and illustrator, Antony Carlyon to bring her books to life. She lives in a small town in North Devon with her husband Stuart and son Harrison. Life is busy with a small child in tow so writing is done on the fly when inspiration strikes, in a notebook and preferrably in pencil so that things can be rubbed out and redone. Lisa does not like a messy notebook! Which is quite surprising as little else is neat in Lisa's chaotic life, her house is generally chock full of books, washing in various stages and a wide range of child related paraphernalia.

Lisa works as a Marketing Manager at a small marketing agency as her day job, and thoroughly enjoys the challenge that this brings. She feels that the chance to be creative and get paid for it is something to be very grateful for.
