Jenny Woolsey

Jenny Woolsey was born in Brisbane, Australia. She grew up with a rare craniofacial syndrome, Crouzon syndrome, and low vision. She taught for 25 years at a suburban primary school on the outskirts of Brisbane. Her first book, Ride High Pineapple (2016), based on Jenny and her daughter's feelings and experiences with having a facial difference, has sold around the world. She writes middle grade/YA and short stories on her motto, Be Weirdly Wonderful! Embrace your differences. Her self-help book, Be Weirdly Wonderful! Embrace your differences (five practical ways to lead your best life) was released in 2024.
