Donald W. Burnes

Dr. Don Burnes is the founder and Executive Director of the Burnes Institute for Poverty and Homelessness, a division of the University of Denver. His first book on the subject of homelessness, A Nation in Denial: The Truth About Homelessness (1993), received widespread attention and acclaim from scholars, practitioners, public figures, and the public.
