I was born in 1970 in Leicester, England. Schooled, to the best of their ability, in an average comprehensive school until 1987. Nine years later, while working as a sheet metal worker, I took a life changing trip to Thailand. I am now married, and have been for fourteen years, and we have two children. My main book, that was conceived in 2002, is a string of anecdotes in chronological order, about my experiences in Thailand between 1996 and 2002. My second book was just a finctional experiment to try the water before jumping in and becoming a 'genuine' author.
People I admire include, John Lennon, and all parents who provide a safe, secure and decent environment, for their children. I have no religious icons to worship, other than a self assembled set of values and an understanding of what is good and bad. I hope that all readers of my book, "Walking the Wild Side" take it for what is; an account of some of the stupid things that some stupid people get up to while on the rollercoaster of life.
Be happy and enjoy... Allan Dudson.
