John S. Knox

John S. Knox has taught at several Christian universities on the East and West coasts of America. He has a PhD from the University of Birmingham (UK) in theology and religion (sociology of religion), an MA in sociology from Arizona StateUniversity, and an MATS in Christian history and thought from George Fox University. His many publications include John Wesley’s 52 Standard Sermons: An Annotated Summary, Deconverted: The Deconstruction and Dismantling of the Contemporary Church, God in the Details: A Biblical Survey of the Hebrew and Greek Scriptures, Matters of the Dark, Sacro-Egoism: The Rise of Religious Individualism in the West, and Sociology Is Rude!: A Conversation on Sociological Theory and Thought. He currently lives in Idaho with his family.
