James R. Stocker is Assistant Professor of International Affairs at Trinity Washington University. His work has been published in the Journal of Cold War Studies, Cold War History, the Middle East Journal, International History Review, and other publications. He has appeared on Al-Jazeera English, and has been consulted by journalists for numerous international publications.
