Andrew Culp

Andrew Culp is a theorist living in Los Angeles. He is the author of Dark Deleuze (University of Minnesota Press, 2016), with many foreign editions, and A Guerrilla Guide to Refusal (University of Minnesota Press, 2022). Working with The Destructionist International he released the film Machines in Flames in 2022. Additional work of his includes Hostis: A Journal of Incivility, Underground Philosophy, The Black Arrow, and many dozen academic essays and interviews. He received his doctorate in Comparative Studies from The Ohio State University and is Professor of Media History and Theory, teaching in the MA Aesthetics and Politics program and the School of Critical Studies at the California Institute of the Arts.
