Chris Dale, has been an Indie Author for six years now, discovered the joy of writing following a challenge from two good friends who encouraged him to use his knowledge and lifetime experiences to write his first fiction novel as an aid to recovery from a serious stroke the year before..

Since then he has written fourteen books, all published through Amazon Books and Kindle KDP. Look up “Chris Dale” to find them.

He has written the following in the romantic/crime/thriller genre:

Crimson Love, The Bentley Regatta, The 42 Million, The Chameleon Pilot, When Her Head Hits the Pillow and the sequel, The Ghosts of Rodewelle Hall; Two Meters Apart, Papi and Decieved. Just released is The Confused Pheasant.

In his other genre of books - two semi-autobiographies - My Stroke and The Boy from Peru.

Subsequent covers have been designed by Cameron Deacon (The Ghosts of Rodewelle Hall, Papi and Two Meters Apart) and Nathan Ryder (Deceived and The Confused Pheasant).

Chris is fortunate to have an excellent team to help him. Susie Ryder - primary editor and Amanda Jacobs (AJ) as editor, Anita Bolton who reads the first draft to give an initial impression, and John Kain who is brilliant at punctuation, grammar and spelling.

Chris Dale was born in January 1954 in Lima, Peru. He came to the UK in 1964 for a private school education, spent five years at Dean Close School in Cheltenham, and finished his education in France. He built his life skill experience’s through a varied career in aviation, the travel business, and then in brand management in the food & brewery markets through the retail food industry. In 2004 he set up his own Management Consultancy business working in these markets specialising in launching and managing several different brand products.

At the same time, as an aviation nut and a private pilot himself, he set up The POM Flying Club at Humberside Airport, which he still owns and runs today.

In July 2014 Chris suffered a major stroke which forced an early semi-retirement from the business world, and a total change of direction. The upside of the stroke has created his joy of writing his books, with many more to come.

He now spends his time writing and managing his books as an indie author; managing his beloved flying school as a hobby, and does some voluntary work locally.
