IT ALL STARTED WITH MY SON.
I'm an award-winning ADHD-academic and parenting coach, and founded Order Out of Chaos® in 2004 when my son was first diagnosed with ADHD. Our mission is to provide hands-on education, guidance and coaching to parents and their students through our customized products and programs, so all children – both mainstream and neuro-diverse – can develop the necessary skills needed to experience success in learning and in life.
I'm the creator of the award-winning Academic Planner: A Tool for Time Management®, a planner that helps students develop time management and planning skills. The planner, awarded glowing reviews by many media outlets including Family Circle and ADDitude magazines, is a 2022 Calendar Marketing Association Gold Award recipient for the BEST children's planner.
A respected resource on ADHD and Executive Functioning in students, I write the weekly “Dear ADHD Family Coach®” column for ADDitude Magazine, the premiere magazine for adults and children with ADHD. I also speak to audiences all over the world helping them utilize their resources to best navigate the task-driven world in which they live.
I'm the award-winning author of three books, "The Complete Diabetes Organizer: Your Guide to a Less Stressful and More Manageable Diabetes Life", and "What’s the Deal with Teens and Time Management: A Parent’s Guide to Helping Your Teen Succeed", published by People Tested Media in 2015. My latest book, "How to Do it Now Because it’s Not Going Away: An Expert Guide to Getting Stuff Done" (Lerner Publishing), was released in October 2020.
In 2020, my line of student organizing products developed with SamSill Corp was released. And for the last seven years, I've been named by Global Gurus as one of the top 20 Time Management experts in the world.
My husband and I split our time between Los Angeles and New York City and my kids are flown and grown. In my all-too-rare spare time, you can find me hiding out in my car indulging in my favorite treats – entertainment magazines and frozen yogurt.
