A bestselling author, editor, and writing instructor, Richard De A'Morelli was first published at age 14 in a national magazine, and he signed a multi-book contract with a West Coast publisher at 18. Since then, he has written 25 books, including a 2018 English grammar bestseller, two bestsellers in the self-help genre early in his career, and three novels under pseudonyms.

During a five-year stint as a journalist in Southern California, Richard wrote more than 600 news stories and features published under his byline. He taught journalism and creative writing at Los Angeles Valley College and Learning Tree University in Southern California, and he went on to create and teach a dozen writing courses for Virtual University.

Beyond his writing, Richard is an elite editor with 30 years' experience in books, magazines, newspapers, and Web projects. He was a bylined editorial staff member for the late Irving Wallace, one of the top-selling authors of the 1980s, and he has held Senior Editor and Managing Editor positions with more than a dozen publishers. Affectionately nicknamed "Jedi Editor" by his clients, his recent editing projects include "Apocalypse Orphan" by Tim Allen, an Amazon Bestseller in 2016, and "Eden's Serum," an award-winning sci-fi/fantasy thriller by Angelique Anderson.
