Dave Hickman is the founder of CHARLOTTE/ONE which empowers local churches in Charlotte, NC to reach 20-30somethings together. CHARLOTTE/ONE currently partners with over 40 local churches and has grown to become one of the largest young adult ministries in the Southeast. The collaborative, multi-church approach of CHARLOTTE/ONE has been endorsed by: Louie Giglio, Chuck Colson, Leighton Ford, Kevin Palau, and was featured in the Wall Street Journal.

Dave holds a B.A. in Bible and Religion from Montreat College and an M.Div from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. His published works include, “Inciting Incidents: 6 Stories of Fighting Disappointment in a Flawed World” (Moody Press, 2013), and “Closer Than Close: Awakening to the Freedom of Your Union with Christ” (NavPress, 2016).

Dave currently serves on staff with Apartment Life as the President of the Mid-Atlantic region which places urban missionaries in apartment communities. Dave is passionate about breakfast, snow, seafood buffets, and wood-burning fireplaces. Dave currently lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife of fifteen years, Monica, and their three sons, Ryan (9), Cole (8), and Jack (3).
