Antony S. Scandale is a Canadian born writer and personal coach who lives in Victoria, British Columbia Canada.
In 2002, Antony earned his Television Broadcasting diploma at BCIT and graduated with honours. He then went on to work at various television broadcasting stations in Vancouver and Victoria working as a technical director for live news. He also worked for three years with the Vancouver Canucks Hockey Organization as a live, instant replay operator.
During his tenure with the Canucks, Antony travelled to various parts of Europe. His intent was to get a greater understanding of people, to learn about other cultures, and to connect with his family heritage.
In 2009, Antony moved on from the Canucks organization and carried out a personal goal, which was to learn Italian in Florence, Italy. After more than 10 weeks of successful Italian language study, Antony realized his glaring need to discover his true life’s purpose – help others find a better way to live and grow.
Passionate about ice hockey and player development, in 2010, Antony left the television broadcasting industry to teach ice hockey and skating skills to young children at a community recreation centre in Victoria. He began using certain motivational and teaching techniques to help bring out the best performance from every student. He continues to teach private lessons both on and off the ice with players who are looking to sharpen their skills. Antony is frequently seen on the ice volunteering his time teaching with highly skilled and decorated hockey coaches.
With the encouragement from friends, family members and Bob Proctor, in 2015 Antony wrote and published his first book, Let Go: A Little Guidebook. A book designed to help those who are in need to move on from the past and build a brighter future. Antony believes that letting go of the past is the first step towards change and freedom.
Antony is now on a mission to help change the lives of other people by providing guidance and clarity through life coaching, writing, and speaking. His goal is to help others understand their true inner power and strength through proper thought and correct action.
Recently, Antony launched his new pod cast and is currently recording and interviewing various coaches and motivational speakers. The theme covers such topics as self-help, mindfulness, and health and wellness.
When Antony is not coaching or writing, he is strumming his guitars, playing his second favourite sport golf, or planning his next trip to a foreign country.
