Melody was born in Houston, Texas. Her grandparents were authors and evangelists Charles and Frances Hunter, also known as the "Happy Hunters". She is the daughter of evangelist and author Joan Hunter. Melody has spent more than a decade serving in ministry and helping ministry leaders grow their organizations.
