Gary Lezak

Gary Lezak is from Southern California where since the age of 5 has been fascinated by weather. His first memories are of clouds, storm systems, and exciting weather. He took his passion, and didn't just make it his life long hobby, but he has now had over a 30 year career in television broadcasting as a meteorologist. He is currently the Chief Meteorologist at KSHB-TV. Gary graduated with a Bachelors in Science Degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1985.

Over the years, Gary has shared his "weather dogs" with his television audience. Windy The Weather Dog made appearances on the Oprah show and Animal Planet's K9-5. This book was inspired by his dogs that have been adopted from various animal shelters over the years. Gary also loves sports and working out!
