Åse Thomassen

Åse Thomassen is a Norwegian author. She has a degree in Political Science. Also, education in law and dramatic art. She has worked as a scientist, independent consultant, and author of several books, mostly in Norwegian. She wrote the first book in Scandinavia about leadership in the police (Universitypress, Norway, 2000). She has work experience from experimental theater to leadership in the police.

She wrote articles and books about Greta Thunberg since she saw that it was something about her rhetoric that didn`t add up. She also thinks that it`s scary that the media believed in” the lonely girl” without critical questions. A sustainable climate is important, but not by emotional blackmailings of politicians in western democracies. Greta Thunberg seems honest. The people staging her is more difficult to judge. Who are they, and what do they expect after one year with Greta Thunberg in the headlines?

Åse Thomassen is Norwegian with a passion for Italy. She works with organizations, politics, rhetoric. She has a son and a grandson.
