Kim L. Walton

Kim L. Walton is a self-published author who has three books under her belt, ranging from Young Adult to Non-fiction. Kim lives in Richmond, Virginia with her family, friends, and plants.

My Motivation was Kim’s debut into the literary world. This young adult read can be found not only on-line, but also in libraries from Richmond Virginia to Warrenton, North Carolina. Dedication, the much anticipated follow-up, came next.

Kim’s third book, Kim’s Do It Yourself Guide to Self-Publishing, is a non-fiction guide for authors and entrepreneurs. This guide is a detailed timeline of how Kim has written and published her books. Kim wrote the guide because during her own journey she became frustrated with other writers/authors who were unwilling to share information about self-publishing, purchasing ISBNs, and important information about copyrights.

After seeing that there was a need for this writing and publishing information among those in the self-publishing community, Kim founded Southside Book and Writers Club, located in Richmond, VA in 2016. SBWC reviews books monthly and offers free advice on all parts of writing and publishing. SBWC shares the type of information that so many authors refused to share with Kim when she started following her dream of writing and publishing.

Currently, Kim is working on book number four, Rowena, due in 2019. Rowena is book one of a dramatic-action series with female lead characters.
