Autumn Wall runs marathons. She plays guitar and designs websites. She’s a foster mom. She’s a popular speaker. She skateboards. She loves eating pizza. She turns into a 5 year old every time it snows. And she finds ways to use every aspect of life to be on mission for Jesus. She’s the real deal, and this book is written from her personal experience.
Autumn Wall has been engaged in missions her whole life. As a child she was constantly involved in family and church mission projects in her neighborhood and community. At age 11 she went on her first overseas mission trip and was hooked. Hardly a year has gone by since then that she has not traveled to another country on mission. She even met her husband, Yale, on the mission field in England. After their wedding, they moved to Indianapolis where they planted a church together in the heart of downtown Indy.
She’s served as a youth leader in a Texas inner city church, missionary in a church plant in England, and now leads worship in a church plant in Indianapolis. She loves sharing Jesus with doubters, discipling new Christians and mentoring young women. She leads neighborhood mission projects, community ministry, mission trips in the states and across the ocean.
There is so much more to this young woman than can be captured on paper. A graduate of Baylor University, her fine arts degree and love of music enables her to passionately lead worship at her church. She is currently working on a masters degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has served as a regular columnist for Let's Worship magazine. She is the recipient of the Hoosier Hero award, an honor bestowed by the NBA’s Indianapolis Pacers to ordinary citizens who serve the community in extraordinary ways.
