Beth L. Gainer

Beth L. Gainer has loved reading and writing as long as she can remember. A breast cancer survivor, she frequently writes about medical/healthcare issues. Her essay "Breaking Barriers" appeared in the Voices of Breast Cancer anthology. Calling the Shots in Your Medical Care is her first book. Gainer has appeared on Huffington Post Live, as well as a variety of other media venues. She teaches English and Humanities at Robert Morris University Illinois in the Chicago area.
