Carsten Primdal

Carsten Primdal was born in 1972 in Elsinore, Denmark. He first ventured to live abroad in 1990, when he did a year as an exchange student in Australia. Since then, he has lived in Barcelona - Spain, Tokyo - Japan, Monterey - California, Singapore, Shenzhen - China, Hong Kong and Australia.

Carsten is a Corporate Social Responsibility professional, a China specialist and Sustainable Supply chain consultant, specialized in risk mitigation when having goods manufactured in offshore locations – especially China, with extensive experience in assisting businesses from Europe, USA, Japan, Australia.

Working with major brands, he has turned his unique perspective, experience and deep understanding of the challenges faced, along with a knowledge of operating practices and standards into his first book, Red Flag.

He is driven by a strong sense of social justice and an innate desire to see suppliers meet their promises to their customers.
