John Booth

John had a long career, in both the Federal government and the private sector, as an Information Management analyst, technologist, manager, and executive. Although he had written many technical documents in his career, he did not have the opportunity to pursue his real passion, writing fantasy fiction, until he retired at the end of 2013. His experience in authoring the first book of the Talamh Mor Trilogy - The Catalyst - published in 2015, was all he imagined it would be and inspired him to continued writing to complete the series. Book two - The Promised one was published in 2017 and Book three - The Herald in 2019. John's first stand alone book, a compelling fantasy mystery based on the Celtic Cailleach legend is titled Fusion of Dark and Light, was recently released on Amazon.

John was born in Chicago, but has lived in Turkey and all over the US. In 2011 John and his wife Cathy, moved to tropical St Croix in the US Virgin Islands.
