Brent Hensley

Raised in the Carolina's, Brent grows up hearing great stories told by family members. Some of his favorites were about an earlier generation who were prize fighters, managers, trainers and promoters in the sport of boxing. Brent used those stories to give birth to his first novel Still Standing: After the Bell. Brent has always felt comfortable talking and entertaining in front of people with his southern charm and quick witted humor and his unique flare of storytelling. He gives credit to the years he worked as an on-air radio personality. Brent has turned his writing interest to the world of mystery and intrigue with his latest endeavor, the Connie Womack Mystery series. His first book in the series is Nebulous Deception, where a wheelchair bound investigator is asked to help solve a kidnapping crime in Charleston, SC. The mystery takes you on a exhilarating ride throughout South Carolina's Lowcountry while exploring the dark world of sex trafficking and the exploitation of children.

Then came his second book in the series where Brent takes you back in time with his prequel to the series, Initial Deception. Connie is once again a young woman setting out to conquer the world with her new love of her life Jack Womack and starting a new life together. Rich in characters once again. Brent uses his military background as the basis for his mystery novels where his research led him to the conspiracy between the Federal Government and a secret organization.

The next in the series is Temporarily Absent which starts where Nebulous Deception left off. Like all the others, Temporarily Absent will not let you down. You can't help but enjoy the deceit, duplicity and double-dealing that leads Connie into a web of danger in this thrilling page tuning novel.

Now the newest in the series, Womack Undisclosed. The plot comes full circle in this 4th book in the Connie Womack Mystery Series.
