"Imagining Ichabod" is about to have an offspring!

When her archaeologist uncle calls Millie just before her 12th birthday, the budding young scientist could not resist when he invited her to work with him on his summer dig.

For seven weeks, Millie, and her best friend, William, work on the site of the General Ichabod Goodwin Home in South Berwick, Maine. While "Digging Ichabod", as the book is titled, the two friends find numerous objects from the 17th and 18th centuries as spelled out in the non-fiction parent, "Imagining Ichabod My Journey into 18th Century America through History, Food, and a Georgian House.

Each discovery leads to a story, helping Millie and William learn more about conflicts with Native Americans, slavery in New England and how small towns such as Berwick celebrated the inauguration of John Adams.

I have completed the manuscript and now, off to the editing process.
