While living entirely in Central Ohio, writing, or the art of telling stories, began in elementary school with school assignments and continued into junior high with short stories. Later, with an interest in the movie making process, screenwriting came along after meeting with Oliver Stone and telling him about some of my ideas for movies. Now, I am converting a number of my screenplays into books using screenplay style of pacing. This is intended to appeal to those who like to read but don't want to be bogged down with large novels.

Regarding the quality of my stories, book marketers approach me every week wanting to promote them. The problem is that they want thousands of dollars to do it. As they come in, I will post some of the comments here: "Your book, The Backwoods Snatcher is a good read. Thank you for writing The Backwoods Snatcher, Douglas."

The Girl In The Cabin is my best seller, but another, Hannah And The Lake Beast Mystery, is in queue for funding to be made into a movie. It's considered "Perfect, by readers.

The book that is getting the most recent attention is Apeman. It's considered the most unusual story readers have seen.
