Jon Cousins

Jon Cousins (1956-) was born in London. After returning to the UK from scholarship study in California, he spent fifteen years in advertising, starting and running a successful London agency. He closed the agency to take a belated gap-year of global travel, starting on his 40th birthday. Then followed a series of startup businesses with co-founders, including Moodscope, an online mood tracking service which now has nearly 100,000 members. It was voted #1 in a UK Government Department of Health poll. Cousins moved (back) to California in 2013 after being granted "alien of extraordinary ability" status (he'd like that on his business card), and now lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area, largely focused on developing emotional wellbeing tools.
