Carrie Rachelle Johnson

Carrie Rachelle Johnson (1982-?) was born in a small town in Missouri. She grew up in a loving family who encouraged her to follow her dreams. Being a normal child, Carrie had many dreams in her childhood. She wanted to be a zookeeper, farmer, veterinarian, and a writer. Only one of those dreams became a reality. Carrie's mother told her that she could be a writer, but that she needed a job that would pay the bills too. Fortunately, Carrie loves to work with children so becoming a teacher was the obvious choice. She teaches in an elementary school in southeastern Missouri. She loves to see the light bulb come on for a student when they "get" it. Carrie is also very involved in her church having been a Christian since she was a teenager. She completely believes that all inspiration for her books come from God. Carrie loves to read many genres, but fantasy has been her favorite since she discovered J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and J.K. Rowling.
