Sandra Valencia

Sandra Valencia has lived her entire life in Central Ohio. From early childhood, she has experienced a dramatic range of paranormal activities including dreams, visions, precognition, and telekinesis that sometimes frightened her, often inspired her, but always fascinated her. She even participated as a subject for study in a local university’s formal investigation of paranormal activities. Those many and varied experiences provide a treasure trove of ideas and concepts she incorporates into her writing. Also enriching her stories are her love for foreign languages, travel, and different cultures. While managing a career in international trade logistics, Ms. Valencia wrote the Legends from Turand series and The Chikondra Trilogy. Ms. Valencia is married with two adult sons. She and her family built a log home in Ohio's scenic Hocking Hills, where the family relaxes and Valencia escapes to write surrounded by the beauty of nature.
