J.C. Branch

It was a dark and stormy night. J.C.Branch was curled up in her easy chair by the crackling fireplace, engrossed in the romance novel resting on the top of the cat on her lap. Suddenly--a loud rap on the door! The cat and JC both jumped. Who could that be at this hour? In this weather? JC flicked on the front porch light and cautiously cracked open the door.

He stood there, wet clothes clinging to his muscular body, his dark hair plastered to his head. And his eyes pinned on hers....

Hi! J.C. Branch here. You gotta love romance. It takes you into a world where anything is possible and love reigns supreme. Reading romance novels is fun, but writing them is a thrill. It allows my imagination to rule the show.

I was hooked on Mary Stewart's romantic suspense novels when I grew up and can appreciate her talent even more now that I'm writing myself. When not writing, I'm reading--usually fiction. For me, books knock the socks off any TV show (OK, with a few exceptions).

So who shows up at my door that dark and stormy night? You tell me!
