Wayne Morgan

Wayne Morgan is a nature/wildlife photographer from Southeast Georgia. In 1999, after having heart problems, which required a pacemaker (at 35 years of age), he turned his love of nature and the outdoors into a passion for photography. His work is owned by former president Jimmy Carter and is hanging in the offices of Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Mark Williams. In 2015 and 2018 he was a winner for the Georgia Council for the Arts contest and his work hang in the Governors office. He has won several awards and contests with his work and has four Coffeetable books still in print, showcasing the Satilla River, Okefenokee Swamp, and several places he has photographed across the United States and Canada. Wayne has worked with well known swamp expert Don Berryhill on the Okefenokee Swamp book and Dink NeSmith on the environmental kids book, Kase For the Environment.
