Fay Picardi

Fay Picardi was born in Washington, DC, but grew up in rural Kentucky, Mississippi and Virginia. She has studied and taught in France, and has spent many months in Italy. She has been a teacher, an interior designer and an amateur artist, as well as a writer. An internationally published poet, Fay has twice been selected as an artist-in-residence at the Atlantic Center for the Arts as well as a Summer Fellow in Poetry at the University of Virginia.
