Zeynep Guvenc

Zeynep Guvenc is a wearable art designer. She holds an M.A. degree in History from Istanbul University, Turkey. She currently lives in North Carolina with her husband and her two kids. She lived in Miami and San Francisco Bay Area for ten years before moving to North Carolina. Zeynep researches extensively about the problems and challenges of youth, homeless people, religion, and different cultures. Since she moved to North Carolina, Zeynep has developed interest in water marbling. Her passion is to create unique, original, authentic, and one of a kind art each time through water marbling. She has taught water marbling at various art centers in Cary, NC, showcased water marbling at festivals, created a clothing line, and even had her water marbling art installed in enormous size at Thomas Brooks Park as part of “Big Picture: Museum Without Walls project”.
