Michel Driessen - Chairman, Advisor, Professor

Michel Driessen is the chairman of Queen’s Tower Advisory, Director of the M&A Research Centre and Professor in the Practice of Finance at Bayes Business School. In addition, he is a Trustee at Turner Contemporary and GCC. Previously he was a Senior Partner in the Strategy and Transactions Group at EY UKI and held senior executive positions at Accenture, Visa and Rabobank international.

His newest book, written together with Sebastian Schmidt, is 'Green Gold: How Sustainability Creates Deal Value (Wiley, 2026). His previous books, both written with Scott Moeller and Anna Faelten, were ‘The Deal Paradox, Mergers and Acquisitions Success in the Age of Digital Transformation' (Kogan Page, 2023) and ‘Why Deals Fail (and how they can be rescued)' (The Economist Book Series / Profile Books, 2016).

He is a Professor in the Practice of Finance at Bayes Business School, has an MA Public Administration from the Radboud University Nijmegen and an MBA (with distinction) from University of Bradford, Graduate School of Management
