Ben Willardson

Ben is the father of five active children and works as a civil engineer. He grew up in Utah. Two years in northern Brazil on a church mission provided a broader world view. He graduated from Utah State University with a Master’s Degree and went on to earn a PhD at the University of Southern California while working full-time and raising the kids. Ben started his career as a paper boy and has worked many jobs including: farm hand, lawn care professional, coal miner, customer service representative, researcher, and engineer. He enjoys spending time with his family, camping, fishing, hunting, reading, playing basketball, and learning new skills. Some of these include flint knapping, leather work, and water color painting. Ben is passionate about his kids and engineering. He lives with his wife, kids, a dog, and several lizards at the end of a cul-de-sac in Springville, Utah.
